Chad Smith

Chad Smith, 45, of Westfield, passed away on the morning of Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on August 20, 1971 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
Chad was a truck driver for American Equipment in Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, his dog, Dryfus, rock & country music, and had a passion for cooking. He loved partaking of his creations, the spicier the better. He was a gardener, raising peppers, tomatoes, and garlic. Chad was a great communicator, possessed a glowing personality and sometimes had an "inappropriate" sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chad is survived by his mother, Jan Smith; daughter, Cala M. Smith; granddaughter, Kameryn Kelly; twin daughters, Avery & Madysen Smith; siblings, Brad (Tina) Smith, Amanda (Lance) Reger, and Shawn Smith; several nieces & nephews; and his uncle, Vembert (Lois) Smith. In addition to his father, Gene, who passed away May 25, 2014, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cas & Francis Smith.
Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 4:00 pm to the time of service. Pastor Tom Fisher will officiate. Burial will be at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield at a later date.
