Chapman T. "CT" Blackwell V

Chapman "CT" Blackwell V, 31, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on March 5, 1984 to Chapman and Amy (Horn) Blackwell IV in Omaha, Nebraska.
CT graduated from Indiana University in 2007 and spent the majority of his career in the construction industry and sales, with his most recent employment at Shepherd Insurance. He had an intense love for life, sports, family, friends, and the outdoors. CT enjoyed playing golf as a member of Crooked Stick Golf Club, enjoyed fishing with his grandfather and brothers, hunting with his friends, water sports at Lake Cumberland with his wife, wood working in the garage, cooking for family and friends, raising his dog, and playing guitar for all. He was a great soccer player and member of the track team at Columbus North High School. CT also founded and rode for a successful Little 500 Team at Indiana University in cycling. He made a significant impact in the lives of everyone he encountered, and he will be sincerely missed.
CT is survived by his wife, Annie (Aff) Blackwell; father, Chapman T. Blackwell IV; mother, Amy Kay Blackwell (Dean Schertz); brothers, Ryan Blackwell and Clayton Blackwell; and grandparents, Harry & Lainie Horn, and Chapman & MaryAnn Blackwell III.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barbara Horn and Nancy Blackwell.
Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Carmel Lutheran Church, 4850 East Main Street, Carmel, IN with Pastor Mark Teike officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the church.
