Charles Dupree

Charles Dupree, 70, of Fortville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at his home.  He was born on May 14, 1953 to Charlie Garland and Lelia Mae (Castle) Dupree in Florence, Alabama.

Charles was a laborer for Vantage Construction for many years before retirement. There were two things he loved most, family and fishing. Charles was always there to help others in their time of need. He was a do-it-all kind of guy and will be dearly missed. Charles was always good at making up songs, his family and friends enjoyed his humor. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rachael Dupree; son, Charles (Jennifer) Dupree; daughters, Amber (AJ) Riggs, Angela (Jason) Willis; grandchildren, Natalie, Katelin, Mason, Jaxon, London Dupree, Conner, Caleb, and Ella Emery, Jace Riggs, Brittany (Gabriel) Fernandez, and Hunter Willis; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ezekiel, Tyrson and Teghyn; sister, Cynthia Blackstock; brother, Danny (Linda) Dupree; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Dupree and James Dupree; sister, Donna Davis; and an infant brother.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville with Reverend John Forsee.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Farley Cemetery in Carmel.
