Charles V. "Chuck" Durkee

Charles V. "Chuck" Durkee, 87, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on December 30, 2017 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus, Noblesville.
Funeral service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 19100 Allisonville Road, Noblesville on January 13 at 2:00 PM.  Visitation will be held at the same location and date at 1:00 PM.  Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes has been entrusted with Charles' care.
Charles was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Veron and Almeda Durkee on October 13, 1930.  He went to high school at Central High School and graduated in 1948.  He earned a certificate in finance and accounting from The University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.  Charles worked as Vice President of Sales for Blue Lustre Home Care Products, Indianapolis for 10 years and owner of Car-a-Van and Portside Car Wash facilities in Noblesville for 27 years.  He enjoyed travel, socializing with family and friends, and wintered in Fort Myers, Florida for 20 years.  He received various department and public speaking assignments at congregations and conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Charles is survived by his wife, Barbara Durkee of Noblesville; daughters, Julie Miller of Noblesville, Janice Dunn of Elwood, and Charlene White of Fishers; and son, Joel Durkee of Columbus, Ohio.  Additionally, Charles is survived by 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
