Charles James Alex Epps

Charles James Alex Epps, 19, of New Castle, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle.  He was born on February 4, 2001 in Noblesville, Indiana.

Charles enjoyed attending Camp Mephibosheth every summer.  He loved the water and swimming.  Charles loved music and attending concerts, especially rock & roll.  He participated in Special Olympics and liked Sponge Bob.  Most of all, Charles loved being around people and his family.

He is survived by his parents, Jenny Epps and Leslie Gambrell; sister, Alexis Martin; brother, Chandler Epps; special friend, Sara Smith; his grandparents, Cheryl Dautrich, Larry & Brenda Holden, and Lonnie & Sue Morgan; as well as numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.

The family would like to thank all of the special teachers, assistants, and caregivers for everything they have done for Charles.

Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 5:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.  Ed Moore from Camp Mephibosheth will officiate.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Please come as you are to the visitation and funeral wearing T-shirts that are rock & roll, slightly sarcastic, Sponge Bob-themed, or bright yellow.
