Charles "Bob" R. Halcomb, 74, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born December 6, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Virgil Floyd and Grace (Prow) Halcomb.
Bob worked for Howard W. Sams for 33 years. After that he had worked for Premium Bindery Company. He was a big I.U. basketball fan, a great story teller, and he loved playing cards with his grandchildren. He also loved traveling out west and watching western movies.
He is survived by daughters, Teresa Heyden and Traci White; a brother, Terry Scrivner; sisters, Karen Harris and Sheila Decker; and grandchildren, Morgan Heyden, Kyle Heyden, Logan White and Katie White.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Virgil "Bud" F. Halcomb.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville with Pastor Richard Clark officiating. Friends may call Thursday, June 24, 5:00 - 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville.
