Charles Edward Padgett

Charles Edward Padgett, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.  He was born on November 16, 1935 to Francis and Dorothea (Butterfield) Padgett in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Charles was Vice President of Construction at Shorewood Coorporation. He also worked for Indianapolis Water Company and Samco of Fishers. Charles was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He and Juanita were foster parents for several years. Charles enjoyed wood working, fishing, playing cards, watching sports, and looking at old cars. Charles was very active in the Decatur township baseball leagues coaching young men's and pee wee baseball. He was the best grandpa on the planet.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Padgett; son, Charles Edward Padgett, Jr.; daughter, Theresa (Dennis) Hayes; grandchildren, Kelleree "Kelle", Amber, and Michael Padgett, and David, Brian, and Morgan Hayes; sisters, Carolyn Bryant and Barbara Winstead; great-grandchildren, Michael Joseph Moore, II, Braxton Charles Moore, Sydney Kathleen Patrick, Mark Christopher Stevens, and Evan Michael Padgett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Moore and Edith Baroni; and son, Ronald Padgett.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1977 S State Road 135 in Greenwood.
