Charles E. Ranker

Charles E. Ranker, 72, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville.  He was born on May 16, 1946 to Richard and Florence (Curry) Ranker in Tiffin, Ohio.
Charles was a 1964 graduate of Columbian High School in Tiffin and received a bachelor's degree in marketing and retail from Bowling Green State University in 1969.  He worked as a buyer of china and glass for many years for L.S. Ayers, and was co-owner of C&G Emporium.  Charles also was a flatware sales rep and delivered campers across America.  He loved boating and spending time with his grandkids.  Charles was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and an Indianapolis Colts fan.
He is survived by his son, Brian Ranker (April Ward); grandchildren, Cole Ranker, Sarah Ranker, Jack Clark and Luke Clark; son-in-law, Mark Clark; brother, Greg Ranker (Debbie); and sister-in-law, Sharon Ranker.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Laurel A. Ranker; daughter, Heather Clark; and brother, Dorsey Ranker.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 12:00 pm to the time of service.  Pastor Derek Lynas will officiate.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
