Charles O. "Smitty" Smith Jr.

Charles O. "Smitty" Smith Jr., 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus. He was born on September 20, 1924 to Charles and Josephine (Thomlinson) Smith in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Charles had been the President of Robert Haines Company before he retired in 2008. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Charles was a member of the American Legion Post in Carmel, and the Moose Lodge in Noblesville.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Smith; son, Todd (Rebecca) McQuinn; daughter, Holly (Rick) Martin; grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Megan, & Heather McQuinn, and Mercedes & Alexis Martin; and one great-grandchild, Ronin Roark.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearlee Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm until the time of service. Pastors Eric Lohe and Ron May will officiate.
