Charlotte White

Charlotte White, 80, of Westfield, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN.  She was born on September 9, 1943 to Roy Frank and Betty (McKenzie) Gilbert in Frankfort, Indiana.

Charlotte was a beloved Mom, Grandmommy and friend to so many.  Her impact on people she knew was enormous.  Growing up in Noblesville and eventually moving to Indianapolis to raise a family, her lifelong friendships stood the test of time.  Charlotte was a devoted Mom making sure her kids were raised in a positive, loving, self-assured environment so they could themselves impact the world.  As the kids grew into Middle School Charlotte started working in sales at her beloved Bright Ideas in Broad Ripple and to this day was the longest standing loved employee in the company.  Charlotte created family everywhere she was present.  She was the definition of kindness, class and grace when interacting with others.

She loved her Lord and was a member of Northview Church in Westfield.  What brought her the most joy was her family and her incredible network of friends that by definition was really just extended family.  Family can mean so much and Charlotte represented what love, family, acceptance and friendships are defined by.  There isn’t a person you could know that when they walked into a room that greeted people with a smile and a genuine hug of authenticity more than Charlotte.  Connecting, listening and talking to people truly was what brought her joy.  She loved God, dancing, bright colors, coffee trips, and traveling with her best friends.

Charlotte battled Breast Cancer for the last 25 years being strong, resilient and up beat throughout the roller coaster ride of it all.  Her strength and desire to live a fulfilling long life looking over her family and friends kept it at bay for all these years.

Charlotte loved and never wanted to miss a good party.   She was the life of the party so in her honor we will celebrate her life with a party she will be center of attention.

Charlotte’s final wishes were to be cremated, “spread all over” and to have a party where all are dressed in bright colors only as she wants to see us all from above while we celebrate her tremendous life.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Greg White (Margie McParland); daughter, Dawn Fisher (Mic); grandchildren, Reece Fisher and Addison Fisher; and her nephew, Frank Gilbert.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Gilbert; and her husband, John White.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with a celebration of life with laughs and shared stories of love immediately after at 6:00 pm, on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity or cause that you are passionate about in Charlotte White’s name.

We Look Forward to Celebrating Her Life With You.
