Chauncey Van Eller

Chauncey Van Eller, 89, Fishers, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 at his home.  He was born September 29, 1920 in Fishers, Indiana.
Mr. Eller spent his lifetime farming.  He previously served as Delaware Township Trustee, and also worked for Farm Production Credit Association.  He was a member of Fishers United Methodist Church; Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA); Warbirds of America; Moose Lodge of Rochester, Indiana; Hamilton County Airport Authority, and the Arbor Day Foundation.  He was a retired Board Member of Farm Bureau Co-op; and charter member of Fishers Volunteer Fire Dept., and the Lions Club of Fishers and Carmel.
He is survived by his best friends, Daryl Brown and Cathie Jefferson of Fishers; brother-in-law, Dick (wife, Dolores) Cotner of Peru, IN; brother-in-law, Bill Cotner of Waterbury, CT, plus nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Eller was preceded in death by his wife, Betty.
Services will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, Indiana, with Rev. Cathie Jefferson officiating.  Friends may call Monday, July 12, 4:00 - 8:00PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
