Christopher L. Dwigans, 71, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at his home. He was born on September 13, 1948 to Wallace and Clara (Raymer) Dwigans in Noblesville, Indiana.
Chris proudly served in the United States Marines during Vietnam and was commandeered for outstanding service while in the Marine Corp. He worked for the United States Post Office. Chris enjoyed football, working on Sudoku puzzles, listening to music, and dancing, in his younger years. He liked going to swap meets, antique stores, and garage sales, and was able to restore a 1940 Ford Coup.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Hurst) (Scolley) Dwigans, which he married in April 4, 2014; his parents; his children: Wade (Amy) Dwigans, Brett (Danna) Dwigans, Laurie (James) Ogle, Debbie (Bob) Shock, and Ed (Letha) Scolley; grandchildren: Blake, Brice, Ryan, Christian, Sebastian, Brooke, Lindsey, Jennifer, Trent, Jessica, Steven, Haleigh, and James; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings: Don (Susan) Dwigans, Mike (Nancy) Dwigans, and Scott (Becky) Bluck; nieces and nephews: Andrea Vroebel, Amanda Farinella, Mitchel Dwigans, Dennis Dwigans, and Michael Dwigans.
Chris was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Gay; nephew, Brad Dwigans; and two great-grandsons, Aiden Gephart and Bennett Walker.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument Street in Noblesville.
