Chuck Clover

Charles E. (Chuck) Clover, 81, Noblesville, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at Riverview Hospital.  He was born May 21, 1929 in Noblesville, to Robert N. (Coke) Clover and Elizabeth (Carmean) Clover.
Chuck attended Noblesville High School and was a veteran of U.S. Navy during WWII and served aboard the USS Fresno.  He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 45 of Noblesville, and the National Baseball Umpires Association and was an avid umpire in Indiana for 25 years.  He was a member of Arcadia Christian Church and an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Indianapolis Colts, and Purdue Boilermakers.
He retired from the Noblesville Fire Department as Assistant Fire Chief in 1975 and also worked at Coaltrin/Randall and Roberts Funeral Home.  After his retirment he worked for Mark III Development Corporation as an apartment manager in Warsaw, Frankfort, and Lebanon until 1991.
Survivors include daughter, Lynn (Tom) Wallace of Arcadia, Indiana; sons, Rob (Kathy) Clover of Logansport, Indiana, and Tom (Doneen) Clover of Noblesville, Indiana; grandchildren, Matt (Alissa) Wallace of Arcadia, Indiana; Amy (Daniel) Brown of Cicero, Indiana; Amanda (Allen) Lovro of Tower City, North Dakota; Angela (Joel) Lowe of Rochester, Indiana; and Reed Clover of Noblesville.  Great-grandchildren include:  Noah, Elijah and Gabriel Wallace; Channing Brown; Scott and Mariah Lovro; Kyler, Alexa and Emmie Lowe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Jane Clover, and a granddaughter, Kristina J. Wallace.
Services will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, July 23, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, with Pastor Matt Wallace and J R Moffatt officiating.  Friends may call Thursday, July 22, 4:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hinkle Cemetery in Noblesville, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arcadia Christian Church, 26901 North St. Rd. 19,  P. O.  Box 544, Arcadia, Indiana  46030.
