Clarence A. Commer, 88, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born February 15, 1922 in Noblesville.
Clarence retired from Firestone after working there 30 years. Clarence served in the Army until 1946, during WWII. He loved country music and played the guitar. He also enjoyed wrestling and crafts.
He is survived by sons, Garry (Sheila) Payne and Larry (Sherry) Payne; step-daughter, Mary (Ed) Hurd; stepsons Joe Gilbert and Alfred Gilbert; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Stan Sutton officiating. Friends may call Friday, June 18, 11:00AM until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
