Clarence McConnell, 86, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at home. He was born May 29, 1921 in Wise County, Virginia to Eva (West) and Kyle McConnell.
Clarence had been an electrician for Firestone Industrial Products, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and the Noblesville VFW. He had been a bomb infuse technician in the Army/Air Force during WWII.
He is survived by wife, Burnett McConnell of Noblesville, son, David (wife, Gail) McConnell of Gainesboro, TN, daughter, Cathy Zeller of Anderson, grandson, Amos (wife, Kim) McConnell of Noblesville, grandson, Jonathon McConnell of Billingham, Washington, granddaughter, Rachel McConnell of Franklin, TN, granddaughter, Kelli (husband, Jason) Hine of Sheridan, granddaughter, Mindy (husband, Nate) Baugh of Anderson, granddaughter, Jamie (husband, Ryan) Graham of Anderson, sister, Irene McConnell of Pennington Gap, Virginia, and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Daisy McConnell, two brothers and one sister.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 21, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church in Noblesville, with Rev. Richard D. Bell, officiating. Friends may call Sunday, January 20, 2:00 - 6:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
