Clayton Thomas

Clayton Thomas M.D, 94, of Westfield, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. He was born on September 28, 1921 to Herbert and Beatrice (Dressler) Thomas in Clinton, Indiana.
Clayton retired in 1990, after 50 years at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, where he was a physician. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy and was a WWII veteran. He was also a member of Mts. Runn Baptist Church in Zionsville, and the American Medical Association.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Thomas; children, Shelly Miller, Gary (Jeanie) Shugart, and Pamela Shugart; brother, Siebert Thomas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Thomas.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Rev. Jack Walker will officiate. Burial will be at Spencer Cemetery in Sheridan.
