Clifford MacCartney, 72, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on March 6, 1943 to Kenneth and Ethel (McMannis) MacCartney in East Cleveland, Ohio.
Clifford worked as a mechanic for Jerry Alderman Ford, and was also with the Washington Township Fire Department in Marion County. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie MacCartney; children, Kenneth (Sheryl) MacCartney, and Holly (Michael) Foreman; grandchildren, Joshua (Janessa) MacCartney, Sarah (Collin) Cerbus, Kristen MacCartney, Jessica MacCartney, Cassandra Foreman, and Autumn Foreman; and great-grandchildren, Loralei MacCartney and Dalton MacCartney.
In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his brother, Norman MacCartney; and nephew, Kevin MacCartney.
Services with Air Force Honors will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation from 2:00 pm to the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Inurnment will be in Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
