Clifton Lee Hoard
Clifton Lee Hoard, 79, of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel. He was born on October 5, 1935 to John and Delores (Shirey) Hoard in Carmel, Indiana. His parents precede him in death.
Cliff proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for many years at both Terry Airport and the Sheridan Airport. Cliff was a member of the Noblesville American Legion, a supporter of the Indianapolis Hiking Club, and participated in many activities at the Westfield Library.
He is survived by his brother, J. Alton (Nedra) Hoard of Westfield; sisters, Norma Mondragon of CA, and Linda (Jim) Messick of OH; and several nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Westfield Friends Church, 324 South Union Street, in Westfield.
Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Cliff, to the Westfield Washington Public Library, 333 West Hoover Street, Westfield, IN 46074.
