Clona E. (Carroll) Dawson, 101, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at St. Vincent Hospice. She was born October 22, 1907 in Arcadia, to Jacob Lewis F. and Johanna (Donaldson) Carroll.
Clona had worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for the Noblesville School System. She was a graduate of Arcadia High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Noblesville.
She married Donnavan K. Dawson in May of 1936.
She is survived by daughter, Donna C. Dawson of Noblesville; son, Robert M. (& Besse) Dawson of Houston, TX; grandson, Donnovan K. Duncan of Noblesville; granddaughter, Malinda (& Steven) Fields of Bethesda, MD; and great-grandsons, Jarrett Carroll Fields & Tyler Fields of Bethesda, MD.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donnovan who passed away in 1947.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Pastor Dave Scifres officiating. Friends may call Saturday, November 1, 10:00 - 11:00AM prior to the service. Burial will be at Arcadia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street, Noblesville, Indiana.
