Connie Nelson

Connie Nelson, 71, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville.  She was born on December 19, 1946 to Robert Thomas and Reka Gennell (Cridlin) Nelson in Saint Charles, Virginia.
Connie retired in 2004 after 30 years in IT for the City of Los Angeles.  She then worked for many years at the Noblesville Library.  Connie was Southern Baptist and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Noblesville.  She enjoyed listening to music and enjoyed reading, especially Tom Clancy and James Patterson novels.
Connie is survived by her sisters, Sandi Whitacre and Carol Swain (Scott Sievers); great-nephew, Gabriel Cooper-Whitacre; uncle, Walker Cress, many aunts; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas R. Nelson; sister, Brenda L. Nelson; and nephew, Jason Andrew.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service.  Pastor Jerry Rairdon will officiate.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
