Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Tishner

Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Tishner, 47, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at IU Saxony Hospital while battling a severe case of pneumonia. She was born on November 20, 1967 to Stephen B. Chambers and Paula S. (Lockart) Harvey in Centralia, Illinois.
Cindy grew up in Bloomington, IL and San Angelo, TX then relocated with her parents to Noblesville, IN in 1986. She put down roots in Indiana, married, had her children and lived out the majority of her adult life in Noblesville and surrounding areas. She loved her children with all of her heart and was just beginning the journey of being a grandma to her first grandchild. Cindy was a bus driver for Hamilton Southeastern School District for 8 years. She was devoted to the children on her routes and loved her job. She very much enjoyed interacting with her fellow co-workers and the parents and teachers in the HSE school district whom she encountered while performing her job.
Cindy fought a nearly year-long battle with cancer, and the family would like to extend special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who have treated Cindy this year, especially Dr. Saltagi and the team at IU Saxony who worked tirelessly to save her life in her final moments.
She is survived by her daughter, Paige Spann, granddaughter, McKinely Spann, and son-in-law, Phillip (PJ) Spann, all of whom currently reside in Germany while PJ serves in the US Army; son, Dalton Tishner of Noblesville; father & step-mother, Stephen B. and Debbie Chambers of Texas; mother & step-father, Paula S. and Joe M. Harvey of Noblesville; three sisters, Julie Endicott of Carmel, Jennifer Perry of Noblesville, and Chrystal Chambers of Noblesville; and ten nieces & nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George B. and Mildred Chambers, and maternal grandparents, Paul E. and Betty Lockart, all of Centralia, IL.
A Prayer Service will be held at 2:45 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with visitation from 12:00 pm to the time of service. Tim Massingale will officiate.
