Dan Gehring

Dan Gehring, 68, of Greenfield, IN., passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was born on November 30, 1944 to Richard and Eileen (Carey) Gehring in Noblesville, Indiana.
Dan was the owner of Dan's T.V. for over 20 years. Later in life he went back to Ivy Tech, receiving his Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Dan was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving our country in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and the Elks Lodge, all of Noblesville, IN.
He is survived by wife, Sherry Gehring, whom he married, April 13, 1976; mother, Eileen Gehring; sons, Doug (Dana) Gehring, Scott (Charlene) Dill; brothers, Mike and Pat Gehring; sister, Linda Hoerer; and grandchildren, Britney, Jacob, Lindsay, Victoria, Allison, and Connor.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Private family services are to be held.
