Dan Wesley Gouwens

Dan Wesley Gouwens, 78, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville.  He was born on October 9, 1941 to James and Mabel (Kickert) Gouwens in South Holland, Illinois.

Dan retired from Eli Lilly and Company as a computer systems analyst after 28 years of service. After retirement, he was a real estate investor. Dan was a member of the Farm House Fraternity at the University of Illinois and a member of the Moose Lodge #540. Dan and Nancy were heavily involved in pediatric therapy. They owned several preschools in the Noblesville area.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Christine Gouwens; son, David Andrew Gouwens; sisters, Sandra Gouwens and Jodi Gouwens; friend and caretaker, Mary Johns; former spouses, Nancy Gouwens and Thelma JoNell Randall

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Gouwens.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.
