Daniel Lee Martz Sr.

Dan Martz Sr., 74, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Copper Trace in Westfield.  He was born on August 13, 1943 to Robert and Virginia (McClannon) Martz in Burnham, Illinois.
Dan proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked for Sherwin-Williams for 20 years.  He was an avid golfer who was proud of his hole-in-one at Lake Forest Golf Course in Cincinnati.  Dan loved sports, was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, and an avid Chicago Bears fan.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Lee (Lynn) Martz Jr. and Michael (Cindy) Martz; step-son, Jason (Lindsey) Kusy; sister, Roberta (Mick) Adams; brother, Greg (Marilyn) Martz; and six grandchildren, Gavin & Christopher Martz, Austin & Samantha Martz, and Jack & Owen Kusy.
In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Martz; and step-daughter, Robin Kusy.
A celebration service with military honors will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 3:00 pm to the time of service.
