Dario Salazar

Dario G. 'Frenchie' Salazar, 78, Crossville, Georgia and formerly of Marion, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in Huntsville Hospital . He was born August 1, 1931 in Colombia, South America, to Jamie Dario and Rosa Lena Salazar.
Mr. Salazar came to the United States in 1953. He attended both Tri-State College and Fort Wayne College, and received his degree in architect and engineering, as well as drafting. He was employed by General Motors and retired after 33 years. He was a member of the UAW and also a member of Converse and Hartford City Flying Club. He was also a member of the Sympathy Club.
His survivors include his wife of 56 years, Fredus Joan Salazar; sons, Norman Salazar and Michael Salazar; daughter, Rebecca Ann Kinkead; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers; four sisters and one grandson.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Pastor Alan Curtis officiating. Friends may call Monday, November 30, 2:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville, Indiana.
