Daryl Shannon

Daryl Mary Shannon , 67, of Fishers, passed away on February 18, 2021 at IU Health Saxony in Fishers, Indiana with her sons there by her side.  She was born on May 19, 1953 to the late James and Eleanor (Winiarski) Sasso in Chicago, Illinois.

She graduated from Resurrection High School in 1971 and followed up her education at Triton College.

Daryl worked as an office manager and bookkeeper for many years before retirement. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, reading, cooking/baking, gardening, genealogy, and games/puzzles. Daryl most loved taking care of her boys, grandkids, and grandpuppies.

Fun fact: Daryl got to see her favorite band, The Beatles, perform live at Comiskey Park, Chicago in 1965 with her father and her cousin.

She is survived by her sons, Bryan Shannon (Sabrina) and Eric Shannon; grandchildren, Abigail and Aiden; and her sisters, Denise Reed (Keith) and Jean Sasso (Mischelle).

Daryl's warm smile and kind, pleasant nature will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Shannon family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes with Daryl's care.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, in memory of Daryl, to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.
