David E. Bilby

David E. Bilby, 53, of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.  He was born on June 21, 1970 in Noblesville, Indiana to Julie Fruth and Carl E. Bilby.

David attended Westfield High School and Ball State University, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He graduate with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. David enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family. He loved planting flowers and pepper plants. He loved everything HOT!!

In his younger years he spent time riding his motorcycle, enjoying life and vacationing with his friends from his Beta Delta pledge class. The True Gentleman (John Walder Wayland) speaks with frankness but always with sincerity and sympathy; whose deed follows his word; who thinks of the rights and feelings of others, rather than his own; and who appears well in any company, a man whom honor is sacred and virtue safe. 

This is the true statement about David. He has been described by his friends to be a bright light. He was smooth with a laid back attitude, carefree and always up for a good time. He had kind eyes and an infectious smile. "He was a solid guy."

David will be missed by his father, Carl "Gene" Bilby (Shirley); his sisters, Michele Bacon (Tracy) and Danielle Reddington; his children, Kaitlyn Weyler (Aaron), Taylor Bilby, and Gavin Bilby; his grandchildren, Keigan and A.J. Weyler; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia A. Fruth.

Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.
