David Chapman

David Neil Chapman, 74, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Fishers, Indiana. Born on September 13, 1950, David was successful in his career as a manufacturing engineer in Fort Worth, Texas for many years.

David is survived by his wife, Nancy Swift Chapman, of 42 years as well as his daughters, Andrea Chapman, Angi (Leo) Leighton, and Jessie (Manu) Dimiccoli; and his son, Trent (Teresa) Chapman. He was a proud grandfather to Cortni (Anwar) Scott, Christian (Sarah) Chapman, Spencer Chapman, Kyle Chapman, Gael Dimiccoli, and Estelle Dimiccoli, and great-grandfather to Aaliyah Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Charles Chapman.

David's personal interests included camping and hunting, cooking, and enjoying quiet times by the pool. David was a 5th class green belt in karate and these activities brought him much joy and relaxation.

Services for David will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests privacy during this time of mourning. David will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
