David Evers

David Evers, 54 of Fishers passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on May 8, 1970 in Louisville Kentucky to Henry and Joan (Fleischaker) Evers.

David was a 1988 graduate of Ballard High School in Louisville Kentucky and graduated from the University of Louisville in 1995 where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity.

He worked for UCB Pharma for 23 years improving the lives of patients living with epilepsy. David was so vested in the epilepsy community, he often felt it was more of a calling than a career and he leaves a strong legacy behind in the Indy/Ft Wayne epilepsy communities.

David was an avid runner and cyclist competing in many triathlons, bike races and a half iron man race. David was a member of the Team Heroes cycling team and put in the miles to raise awareness for the Heroes Foundation’s commitment to the battle against cancer. David found a real brotherhood with his cycling team and enjoyed riding along side them every weekend. He also enjoyed hiking and was able to hike Glacier, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Olympic, Ranier, Rocky Mountain and Grand Canyon National Parks with dear friends.

David was a wonderful example of kindness and positivity and brightened any room he walked into. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him in including his family, friends, and colleagues. David was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Holly Evers, and son Noah Evers. Also surviving are his brothers John (Missey) and Robert (Deedee) Evers of Louisville Kentucky as well as nieces Bailee Evers, Addison (Brendan) Tighe, Mia Evers, Kirstin Caudell and nephew Hank Evers and many other family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Joan Evers of Louisville Kentucky and his mother & father-in-law, Franklin and Brenda Caudell of Fortville, Indiana.
