David Lynn Johnson, 52, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at home. He was born on April 15, 1962 to Alfred and Frances (Casteel) Johnson in Russell County, Virginia.
David was a sensational and dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He worked as a heavy equipment transporter.
David spent his life as a local "gearhead" dedicated to improving anything with a motor that crossed over into his garage. He had a "drive" and a passion for anything with a motor, wheels and speed.
He is survived by his wife, Misty (Haskett) Johnson; father, Alfred (Jeanne) Johnson; son, Joshua (Renee) Johnson; stepson, Lee (Kody) Haskett; and stepdaughters, Arianna Brooks and Eva (John) Helton. David was the proud grandfather of Braelyn, Hayden, Luvisa, Leah, Kaiden, and Quintin. He is also survived by his brother, Shane Johnson in Noblesville; and niece, Jodie Jamiet in North Carolina.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Johnson; and sister, Judy Johnson Sparks.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Larry Horn officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 9, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
