David M. Lloyd,64, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his home. He was born on October 14, 1954 to Ray and Helen (Jackson) Lloyd in Noblesville, Indiana.
David proudly served his country in the United States Navy and for 40 years worked as a skilled-trade carpenter for Allison Transmission. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was an extremely hard worker. Each year, David rode in the Riley Miracle Ride with his granddaughter, Madison. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren and his world revolved around them.
David is survived by his daughter, Shanna Rich; grandchildren, Madison Lloyd, Braxton Rich and Brooklyn Rich; step-daughter, Teri Ford; step-granddaughter, Elliana VanBroeck; siblings, Danny (Rosie) Lloyd, Rick Lloyd, Jeff Lloyd, Marsha Montenegro, Ralana Gilbert, Chip Thomas, Kenny Thomas, and Kathy Sumner; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gregory Lloyd, Peggy Lloyd, and Buddy Sumner.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the funeral home, with Dr. Richard Schenck and Rev. Carol Schenck officiating. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
