David L. Russell

David L. Russell, 88, Noblesville, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born March 2, 1920 in Hamilton County to Clarence and Ruth (Wilburn) Russell.
David owned his own fuel oil distributorship in addition to being a school bus driver for Noblesville Schools for many years. He was a fifty-year member of F&AM and a four-year member of the Fishers Lions Club. He was also a member of the Fishers United Methodist Church. David enjoyed bowling and golfing.
He is survived by his son, David W. (Doris) Russell of Noblesville, Indiana; daughter, Jane (Chuck) Lisota of Noblesville, Indiana; brother, Robert Russell of Winter Haven, Florida; grandchildren, Daryl Russell, Diane Renner, Kellie Farrer, Suzan Hansen, and Chandra Lisota; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife, Ruthann (Bennett) Russell in 1987; brother, John Russell; sister Frances Hamble; and sister Judy Moore.
Services will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, January 2, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Friends may call Friday, January 2, 12:00PM - 1:30PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
