David E. Schweigel

David E. Schweigel, 77, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born on April 6, 1940 to Clifford and Dorothy (Bogard) Schweigel in Hoagland, Indiana.
Dave owned Dave's Dry Wall and was a member of Radiant Christian Life Church.  He loved basketball, following IU, and antique cars.
Dave is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirlen "Kay" Schweigel; daughter, Sherry K. Eads; son, Terry E. (Beth) Schweigel; eight grandchildren, Josh (Lizzie) Eads, Derek Eads, Adam Eads, Elise Eads, Aaron Eads, Christopher (Deborah) Schweigel, Jessica (Sean) Wyler, and Nicholas Schweigel; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Doyle Schweigel and Dean Schweigel; and his sister, Donna Miley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Don and Dick Schweigel; and sister, Diana Schweigel.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Radiant Christian Life Church, 16162 Carey Road in Westfield, with visitation from 11:00 am to the time of service.  Pastor John Cernero will officiate.  Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road SW, Lilburn, GA 30047.
