Debi Mueller, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and esteemed talent development leader, passed away on March 8, 2024. Born on January 31, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana, Debi was the beloved daughter of Mary Ann and Kenneth (Bud) McClure and sister of Marcia Finin.
Debi's journey was marked by her dedication to family and the business community. She excelled academically and served as the editor of the yearbook during her time at Jackson High School in South Bend, IN. At Ball State University, she met the love of her life, Doug Mueller, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and companionship.
Together, Debi and Doug built a beautiful family, raising their daughters, Stephanie Quimby (Matt) and Allison Casto (Matt). Debi was a doting grandmother to Ryan (15), Noelle (12), Vivienne (7), and Haley, who preceded her in death.
Debi's passions were as varied as they were deep-rooted. She found immense joy in spending quality time with her family, hosting memorable gatherings filled with laughter and love. She delighted in cooking for her loved ones and going out to eat. Debi's creative spirit shone through her sewing projects, where she poured her heart into crafting intricate pieces, including a niece's cherished wedding dress. A voracious reader, she found joy within the pages of her favorite books, often sharing her love for literature during cherished outings to Barnes and Noble, especially treasured moments spent with her granddaughters.
Debi found rest and rejuvenation spending time at Lake Tippecanoe with family and friends. There she enjoyed sitting outside to read and engaging in spirited games of Scrabble and cards with her loved ones.
In her professional life, Debi was a talent development leader, mentor, and executive coach. Countless individuals in the community were touched by her guidance, wisdom, and compassion. Debi's impact extended far beyond professional realms, as she cultivated personal growth and enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Debi Mueller will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and hospitality. Her legacy of love and leadership will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a community enriched by her presence and a family blessed by her love. May her memory be a blessing to all who mourn her loss.
Private family services will be held. The Mueller Family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Debi's care.
