Deborah A. (Davis) Hybarger of Sheridan died at her home on Sunday, May 10 at the age of 61. She was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Charlotte (Watkins) Davis. Born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1954, she was a 1972 graduate of West York Area High School.
She was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1972-1977. After her honorable discharge, she attended Dallas Baptist College where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Debbie worked as a registered nurse in various roles, most recently as a certified case manager. She was actively involved in the Sheridan community, substitute teaching at Sheridan Community Schools, participating on the Sheridan Library Board of Trustees, encouraging women in Symposium Club, and volunteering with the Meals on Wheels program. She was a faithful servant in her ministry of the Good News Club at Sheridan Elementary School. Debbie attended Harbour Shores Church where she served as an AWANA leader for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Kim; daughters, Hilary (Kyle) Bowman, Bethany (Matthew) Moore; grandchildren, Moriah Bowman, Savannah Jane Moore (expected to arrive in August); sister, Kimberly Davis.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, May 13 at Harbour Shores Church, 8011 East 216th Street in Cicero. A service will be held at Harbour Shores Church at 10 am on Thursday, May 14 with Pastor Chris Fritz officiating. A private burial for immediate family will be held at the Marion National Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express sympathy may consider a donation to the Harbour Shores Church Mission Fund; or, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Central Indiana - Sheridan Elementary and Middle School.
