Deborah Lynn Snow (Monette), of Westfield, was 60 years old when she passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, surrounded by her husband and children. She was born on April 1, 1963, to James and Mary Sue Monette in Houghton, Michigan.
Deborah grew up in Houghton, Michigan, where she attended Houghton High School. She spent her childhood ice skating, enjoying weekends at her family lake house, and loved working with her father at Roy’s Pharmacy. She attended Northern Michigan University, where she graduated with her Associate's Degree as a paralegal. Most importantly, she met her husband of 38 years, Donald Snow. Deborah and Donald married following graduation in 1985.
After moving to Indiana, Deborah returned to her pharmacy roots, becoming a Certified Pharmacy Technician. In Westfield, she had an impressive tenure at Walmart Pharmacy for over 20 years. However, she found her true purpose and meaning through helping others. She was compassionate and loving to all who crossed her path. It did not matter whether it was her own family or someone in the community, she showed love and cared for everyone. She brought light and warmth through her selfless acts and was well-loved by those who knew her. Deborah was a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and wife who will be tremendously missed.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Snow; her children, Alyssa, Jordan, and Jared Snow; her grandchildren, Elijah and Margot Hoyt; her father, James Monette; her brothers, Scott and James E. Monette; along with several nieces and nephews.
Deborah was preceded in death by her Mother, Mary-Sue Monette, and brother, William Monette, who were without a doubt waiting with outstretched arms for her.
Along with family members, Deborah also leaves behind countless friends and the adoptive family she was happy to gain over the years as Mama Snow.
