Delmer Ray O'Dell, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at his home. He was born on February 23, 1929 to Enos and Bessie (Taylor) O'Dell in Quick, West Virginia.
Delmer retired from Sears & Robuck Company as an Electronic Service Manager, and was a member of Central Christian Church in Carmel, where he was also baptized. He enjoyed learning about science, loved to star gaze, and taking camping trips was a family tradition.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirlee (Tim) Cooper; daughter, Tammy (Roger) Brown; daughter, Shawn O'Dell; son, Kenneth O'Dell; daughter, Paula (Jan) Dawson; daughter, Diana (Jerry) Keeney; son, Steve Salisbury; brothers, Alvin (Roberta) O'Dell, and Melvin O'Dell; sister, Delphia Brandel; brother, Frank (Angie) O'Dell; twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, and one brother.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Burial will be at O'Dell Cemetery in Quick, West Virginia.
