Dennis Robinson

Dennis "Mike" Robinson, 71, of Westfield, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at home. He was born on July 17, 1942 to Lawrence and Irene (Covey) Robinson in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mike retired from Navistar Foundry as a Journeyman Millwright after 30 years, he also worked as a school bus driver for Carmel Clay Schools. He attended Sheridan Six Points Wesleyan Church, and enjoyed working, farming, and spending time with his family. He was known as "Mr. Fix-It", and an avid fan of Westfield sports and the Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marsha Glenn Robinson, who he married on October 26, 1962; sons, Mike (Donna) Robinson Jr., Mark (Jamie) Robinson, Mitch (Julie) Robinson; grandchildren, Christie, Stacie, Jon, Jordan, Brock, Austin, Jenna, Noah, and Emily; and great-grandson, Jaxon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Dick Robinson; son, Matt Robinson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Sheridan Six Points Wesleyan Church, 1545 W 226th Street, in Sheridan, with visitation beginning at 4:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Pastor Steve Martin will officiate.
