Dennis Young

Dennis Ray Young, 58, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at home. He was born on May 29, 1954 to Merle and Merna (Bristow) Young in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dennis was a retired Air Force veteran, having been an Aircraft Navigation & Communications Technician for 20 years, from 1972-1992. After retirement he owned and operated Automotive Technology Consulting. He was a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Team assisting with radio communications and serving in the same capacity for the National Weather Service.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbara Young of Noblesville; father, Merle Ray Young of Fishers; mother, Merna L. Young of Fountain valley, CA; four sons, David (Amanda) Young of Whiteland, IN; Adam (Deidre) Jones of Aviano, Italy, Chesli (Vickie Hall) Jones of Walnut Creek, CA & Senior Airman Phillip Young of McCord AFB, WA; and two brothers, Alan (Kathy) Young of Carmel & Andrew Young of Fishers.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mildred Hensley Young.
A memorial service will be held at Fountain Valley United Methodist Church in Fountain Valley, CA at a later date.
