Diana Alvarado, 58, of Fishers, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on January 16, 1955 to Eugene and Helen (Sosna) Fidrych in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Diana graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.S.N. She was a Practice Facilitator at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital, and previously a Nurse in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at the University of Chicago Hospital. She was a member of Geist Christian Church in Indianapolis.
She is survived by husband, Ernest R. Alvarado, Jr.; two daughters, Amber (Jeff) Small, and Erin (Brad) Capstick; son, Kyle Alvarado; mother, Helen Fidrych; sister, Barbara (Jerry) Hejnowski; brother, Maciek (Agnes) Fidrych; and grandchildren, Aiden & Mackenzie Small, and Logan & Maxwell Capstick.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Muriah Farley.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Geist Christian Church South Campus, 8550 Mud Creek Road, in Indianapolis, with Pastor Dustin Hite officiating. Lunch will follow at the church.
