Dolores Garrettson

Dolores Garrettson, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on May 20, 1927 to Martin and Margaret (Miller) Shea in Columbus, Ohio. Dolores had been a food service server all her life. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Noblesville and, prior to that, was an active member of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Fishers.
She is survived by son, Joseph Freeman of Noblesville; daughter, Paula Diane Miller of Goodyear, AZ; granddaughters, Hannah Freeman of Noblesville, and Rachel Austin of Carmel; grandson, Daniel Surmanek of Avondale, AZ; and great-grandchildren, Kiara Jackson of Carmel, and Logan Surmanek of Avondale, AZ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Garrettson.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 20650 Cumberland Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Doug Gast officiating.
