Don Sheetz

Don A Sheetz, 85, of Chaffee, MO, (formerly of Westfield, IN) passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, MO. He was born on April 9, 1928 to Harry and Conza (Edwards) Sheetz in Jolietville, Indiana.
Don retired in 1993 after 33 years with INDOT, where he was a bridge designer. He was a member of the Naval Reserves; and enjoyed wood-working, puzzles, restoring cars, and working with stained glass. He was also a member of Hinkle Lodge 310 and the Murat Shrine.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sheetz; son, Donald 'Don' (Debbie) Sheetz; daughter, Yvonne (Rick) King; brother, George Sheets; grandchildren, Dan (Kyla) Sheetz, Dave Sheetz, Rick (Anna) King, Cheyanne King & Nicholas King; and great-granddaughter, Ali King.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jim Sheets.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 11, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 4:30 pm. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
