Donald Eugene Conner

Donald Eugene Conner, 82, Sheridan, passed away Monday, July 27, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born August 9, 1926 in Anderson, Indiana.
Donald was manager of the downtown Indianapolis Goodman's Jewelers for 35 years. He was a former member of the Elks Club; and loved traveling, gardening and animals.
He is survived by sons, Donald Gene Conner & Gregory Wayne Conner; daughter, Donna Jo Long; step-son, Robert Conner; sisters-in-law, Maxine Conner, Alma Conner & Jimmy Lee Conner; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; 13 nieces & nephews; and several great- and great-great nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Sacilowski, Marcella Sokol & Betty Stephenson; brothers, Gordon Conner, Ralph Conner, John Conner, Robert Conner & Rex Conner; nephew, Roy Conner; and special aunt, Ida E. Conner.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Chaplain Evan Strong officiating. Friends may call Sunday, beginning at 1:00PM, prior to the service. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Ovid, Indiana.
