Donald Eugene Hinshaw

Donald "Don" Eugene Hinshaw, 73, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Majestic Care of Sheridan.  He was born on February 27, 1950 to Francis and Helen (Montgomery) Hinshaw in Noblesville, Indiana. He married Freida K. Fox on August 19, 1972.

Don was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School. He worked 42 years before retiring from Best Lock/Stanley. Don loved bowling, woodworking, and sitting on the porch swing with Freida, that he built. He loved his family and his dog, Yoda.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Freida; daughter, Shannon (Jeff) Linville; grandchildren, Derrek Drahn, Kaya Linville, Alia Linville, and Jalen Linville; great-grandchild, Karsyn Auld; brother, Doug (Liz) Hinshaw; sisters, Darlene (Ron) Heinzman and Deloris Miller; in-laws, Freeman (Pam) Fox and Carolyn (Chris) Ward; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, June Ellen Hinshaw; brother-in-law, Don Miller; grandchildren, Dillon Drahn and Angel Grace Linville.

A celebration of life will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Forest Park Inn, Overlook Room, in Noblesville.
