Donald Hyndman

Donald E. Hyndman, 65, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on January 31, 1945 to Russell and Gladys (Leslie) Hyndman in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Donald had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had retired from Anthem Insurance as a manager in the I.T. Department.
He was a member of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Fishers. Donald had served as former Commander of the Fishers American Legion Post, was a member of Fortville VFW, and had coached Little League Baseball for 12 years in Fort Wayne.
Donald is survived by his wife, Linda Hyndman; son, Steve & wife, Sandy Hyndman; daughter, Stephanie & husband, Barry Van Skyock; guardian daughter, Tammy Dean; father, Russell Hyndman; and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Walt Hyndman and Gary & wife, Jeanette Hyndman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Hyndman.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with Pastor Joe Freeman officiating. Visitation will be will be Tuesday, September 21, 2010 4:00PM - 8:00PM and Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 10:00AM - 11:00AM. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
