Donas Yvonne Montgomery

Donas Yvonne Montgomery, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at her home.  She was born on October 25, 1935 to Woodrow and Grace (Langolf) Swinford.

For 13 years, Donas worked as a nurse's aide.  She was a member of Open Door Free Methodist Church.  Donas loved watching Western movies and listening to Elvis.  She enjoyed pets, doing puzzles, fishing, and playing slot machines at the casino.  Most of all, Donas loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter, Dena (Tony) Pryor; son, Darran (Deanna) Montgomery; 5 grandchildren, Shannon (Luther) Triplett, Amanda (Trevor) Scoles, Heather (Allen) Simmons, Holly Montgomery, and Darran (Taylor) Montgomery Jr.; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Donas was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Montgomery Jr.; son, Donald Montgomery; and her sisters, Betty Dunbar and Shirley Nens.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a memorial service at 2:00 pm, on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  Pastor Jeff Gammon will officiate.
