Donna Lou Barker

Donna Barker, 73, of Cicero, went to rest in the hands of God on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on December 18, 1941 to Donald and Lena (Cheesman) Ketring in Preble County, Ohio.
Donna co-owned Family Vacations Travel Agency for 20 years; and had been co-owner of The Trader (ad paper) for 25 years. She was a member of Harbour Shores Church in Cicero. Her life revolved around her love for her family and worshipping at her church. She and Tom had a passion for Southern Gospel music. She also enjoyed hosting and spending time with her friends; and the time she was able to spend in her Florida home.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tom Barker, whom she married on Sept. 11, 1960; daughters, Brenda (Barth) Porter, Debra (Ken) DeVries, and Kelly (Tim) Galloway; sister, Diana (Jim) Jones; brother, Dan (Lynn) Ketring; grandchildren, Doug (Brittany) Porter, Megan Porter, Autumn, Paige, Molly and Victoria DeVries, Matthew Barker, and Caleb & Jennifer Galloway; great-grandchildren, Madison & Collin (twins), and another one on the way; nieces & nephews, Travis (Alyssa) Ketring, and Jamie (Ted) Hill; great-nieces & nephews, Alexis & Olivia (twins), Gavin, Mila, and Sophie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gerald E. Ketring; and nephew, Nathen D. Ketring.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Larry O'Brien officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the service.
