Donna Carroll Dawson, 72, of Noblesville, passed away on January 3, 2014. A lifelong resident of Noblesville, she was born to the late Donnovan and Clona Dawson on July 10, 1941.
She graduated from Noblesville High School in 1959 and from Indiana Business College in 1960. She was employed as a paralegal at Campbell Kyle Profitt, and as a secretary at St. Michael's Episcopal Church and Visiting Nurse Service. She also spent years as a mental health advocate in support of the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI). Donna especially loved classical music, theater, gardening, and her two cats.
She is survived by her son, Donnovan Duncan, of Noblesville; and her brother, Robert Dawson, of Cleveland, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060 or to NAMI PO Box 22697 Indianapolis, IN 46222.
