Dora Jean Braund

Dora Jean (Lucas) Braund, 73, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville.  She was born on January 17, 1944 to Nolan and Geneva (Allman) Greathouse in Brown County, Indiana.
Jean had worked for Irwin Mortgage for 23 years and had also held a real estate license, and worked at Hallmark in Fishers. She loved to cook and bake cookies and was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Noblesville. 
Jean is survived by her husband, Robert Braund; brothers & sisters, Bob (Wanda) Greathouse, Patty (Jerry) Cazzell, Judy (Jim) Sandlin, Jerry (Carmen) Greathouse, Sheila Henderson, Gary (Naomi) Greathouse and Linda (Charles) Schnell; step-grandson, Jonathan Kurzinger; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Lucas; and son, John Mark Lucas.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Noblesville Pilgrim Holiness Church, 1413 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service. Pastor John Forsee will officiate. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
