Doris Rose Farr

Doris Rose Farr, 84, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015. She was born on April 2, 1930 to Ernest and Edith (Hefner) McKinnon in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Doris was a cook at Fall Creek Elementary School, where she was affectionately known as the 'Lunch Lady'. She was a member of Fishers United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved spending time with her family, as well as reading and baking; and she liked butterflies and Kermit the Frog; and enjoyed feeding hummingbirds and going to flea markets.
She is survived by her husband, Dallas Farr; daughter, JoEllen (Phil) Canada; sons, Gary Farr and David Farr; sister, Ruby (Paul) Tate; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Scott Farr; and brothers, Glen McKinnon & Ernest McKinnon.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with Pastor Kevin McKinney officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
